Fire Warden / Fire Marshal

Duration - 1/2 Day

This course is designed to accommodate your companies legal requirements and provides sufficient and appropriate training to allow you to impliment your Fire Safety Policy without significant disruption to work schedules and reducing the potential for fires in the workplace.

Course Aim

To educate personnel/employees on the causes of fire through to fire development, basic fire prevention techniques, evacuation plans and procedures, fire safety management and basic fire equipment checks and management.

Course Content:

• Theory of fire
• Fire development
• Emergency response and evacuation procedures
• Induction training for new or temporary staff/employees
• Extinguisher types, limitations and uses
• Responsibilities & Liaison with local authorities
• Passive fire system recognition and familiarity
• Practical use of extinguishers on a range of small controlled fires.
• Theoretical question paper included upon request from the client.

Training Venue:

For practical purposes it would be ideal to use your own premises as this would allow a more accurate practice of certain elements of this training, however we do offer a range of locations that may better suit your requirements and this can be discussed in greater detail when more convenient.

Course Costs:

£65.00 per person plus VAT (up to 8 delegates)

£50.00 per person plus VAT (8 deleagates and over up to 12)
